i was gifted gorgeous yarn by someone who cut off every label including those for brand, fiber content, and dye lot, which obviously is terrible...but i emailed my LYS and they identified the yarn and colorway within 2 minutes. on a day they're closed. LYS: modern magic??? i can live without dye lot

hands down best theme i ever had for a bday party was "attending your own funeral in disguise," based on the clickhole article of that title. instead of gifts/cards my friends wrote and delivered eulogies, the cake said RIP instead of HBD, the invites were "memorial announcements," i wore a disguise

I am sickened by today’s attack in Manchester. Antisemitism is on the rise around the world, and we must do all we can to stomp it out. I am grateful to first responders and congregants who showed incredible bravery, and I am praying for those who were killed.
