Will they be more annoyed than these 🐦‍⬛ were when they showed up to work this morning?

Just as a point of demonstration I looked on BGG and there are over 500 rules threads for just base Carcassone. By comparison, Ra, Through the Dessert, & El Grande (all released prior) combined have less than that despite being higher difficulty games.

Perhaps. It has been a while. But I remember their being disagreements/confusion for some players. I’d encourage you to keep in mind that what may seem simple to you could challenge some players. Especially when it comes to spatial tasks.

It’s been a while since we’ve played it. But yes, expansions. And probably that combined with some at the table taking the game too seriously and others not paying much attention to what was going on.

Fair enough. But what is Carcassonne if not a game where you endlessly debate whether your opponent’s last move was a legal placement?

As someone who watched Disclaimer with his 70 year old parents present. I agree with the majority of people in this survey. Specifically with regard to the Apple+ TV show, Disclaimer. That show should not have had such graphic sex in it while I watched it with my 70 yo parents visiting.

A big component of the American system of “Law and Order” is justice - the idea that the law protects you from illegal acts taken upon you by your government. It seems some of us need reminding of that.

What you get at that tier is not worth it. It’s a bunch of 24 hr news (5+ are FOX), live streams of every college football game (which you already have access to if you have the ESPN add on), & a bunch of networks that run live streams of syndicated content you can access through other apps

So… Ponzi scheme?

Thank you for this. Such a good way to put it to think about how much you were having to cope. My daughter is currently getting assessed and we’re considering medication. And that’s how we’ve been thinking about it. Just how much she’s having to stretch herself and how exhausted that makes her.

I thought about it for a bit. And I came to the conclusion that…

…I don’t envy you all having to make that decision.

But whatever it is, I’ll be excited to watch it.

I was wondering what the first game streamed in the new space was going to be?

And which Age of Steam map specifically?

I find myself gravitating toward games with loose rulesets. Those who want clear win conditions might find this frustrating. But emergent narrative is what my game groups and I crave. Games like Stationfall, Oath, & Molly House deliver that. These are the games we talk about long after we’re done.

One way to correct for previous misreporting is to include a clarification and retraction in the subject of the social media post. It’s what responsible journalists would do.

I mean, the man is comprised almost entirely of cells that are completely different from those of when he was a younger man. He can’t be held responsible for the actions of what was basically an entirely different person.

Writes ruling that says people can just sue for discrimination while also weakening the case of someone suing for discrimination in the same ruling. Truly a masterclass in judicial dumbfuckery.

I’ve often thought the same about Arydia. But then again I really love the interaction with tangible components. Dice in a video game/app are just never as satisfying.

Can confirm. We all saw J2B2 running on low battery mode during that debate.
