And I'm sorry more of these folks couldn't get elected but we'll find a place for their service. And yours. There are only so many seats on the town board but it takes all of us to move Wendell forward.

Thank you so much! Wendell is the Small Town with Big Charm, and the fastest-growing town in NC. I welcome our new neighbors and want to make sure Wendell stays an affordable place for our long-timers and our newcomers who will one day be our long-timers.

A stagnant town means historic properties decay and go underutilized. I’ve seen that happen to too many small towns across America, and I don’t want it to happen here.

...something our citizens consistently note we need more of. I want to grow the town’s budget for these grants so we can activate more of these historic structures and make downtown even more vibrant.

The year after moving to Wendell, I was appointed to the town’s Downtown Development Committee, where I’ve been a part of recommending upfit grants for small businesses to renovate those buildings for higher and longer-term uses like dining and entertainment venues...
