This is such a bad faith interpretation of the video. You’re the only one who thinks they’re laughing at the woman in the story. The reddit thread isn’t even from the woman, either, total miscomprehension up and down this

GenAI is a really bad look. Everything from how unprofessional it looks, to the environmental impact (very relevant for transit), how it was non-consensually trained on artists' work, and other ethical issues. It hurts more than it harms. Why do people even bother?

This is what I’ve used for intaking new music for like 15 years. After you learn the macros it’s really fast to properly tag and sort consistently. Once you have a good folder structure and correct tags you never need to touch the files again.

This was my immediate thought when they mentioned 2006. The internet was full of people using fruity loops and pirating the other options! I even dabbled myself. In their case they just needed to buy a cheap mic which were also available then. "Bedroom" musicians were a thing in this era!

Happens every few months when he says something that doesn't perfectly align with what people are expecting. Then any clarifications or context gets ignored as people just reshare a screenshot of the original thing over and over so people miss out on the full picture and the cycle continues

I've learned to only buy high quality vegan leather as the cheap stuff falls apart. Which also means not buying anything off the shelf and focusing on pricer online boutiques - so has become a rarer purchase. That's also where you start to see the non-plastic options, too.

$20 a month ($100 for 6 months) is cheaper than a high end graphics card by a several year margin. I’ve never come close to using up the 100 hours
