Okay I think I got the cloth physics in #blender figured out. Apparently you just have to subdivide the mesh into oblivion and apply negative pressure to a closed mesh. Now I can start figuring out facial rigging so she doesn't look like a deer in the headlights. #b3d #3dgraphics

@blendernation.com I tried to sign up to your wordpress site so I could add a submission for a featured artist, but you've got a bug in your auth system.. I digress... I'd like to nominate @k0k0ze.bsky.social for his stellar work on this video. It helped me out a lot and others could benefit IMO
The hair curves can use GN, but currently that is only for generating the hair curves and not for simulating them (unless you create your own solver, which is a very complex task).

I made a video on how to use the old hair dynamics for the simulation. It is simpler that way.

progress on midrange detail model textures. hair turned off because it's damn near impossible to texture behind hair. If anyone's got suggestions for a better way to handle texture workflow in #blender, I'm all ears. Still haven't even tried to figure out shaders #texturing #amateurhour

okay... finally figured out how to smooth keyframes in #blender... ffs keyframing is the least intuitive possible UI. Fun fact... "auto keyframe" doesn't do shit if there's already a keyframe there. Still prefer #aftereffects animation. #amateurhour #3dgraphics. Enjoy this low rez lighting test

more dramatic camera angle, shallower depth of field, better color correction... Finally starting to like where this scene is going. Wish I was as good at #blender as I am with #aftereffects. Still need to figure out a story though #writersblock

2 hours to render 26 frames in low quality mode.... already started building a separate windows based render machine... 13 frames an hour for a lighting test just isn't gonna fly. #blender #3dgraphics #motiongraphics #justgiveup

First lighting test render.... yes I know i still need to rig her hands and finish her hair... but lighting is so much more fun. 30 seconds to render a 1080p low quality single frame.... that means this animation will take at least a week to render when I'm done 🙄 #blender #3dgraphics #ishouldsleeep

Not exactly sure where I'm going with this scene. just throwing models at the wall in #blender and seeing what sticks. Just trying to keep the poly count under a million before I take it into #aftereffects. AE always throws a bitchfit for me above 1m. But already 500k #3dgraphics #noideawhatimdoing
