Funny… I keep thinking of the scene in Hunt for Red October where the Russian first officer turns to his captain and says, “You’ve killed us, you arrogant ass!”

Imagine the idea of someone in the Senate hated more than Cruz.

Reading “A Full Life” right now. I was five years away from being able to vote, but our country dropped the ball big time in 1980… electing an actor to play president instead of letting a life-long learner and military hero continue his work.

Oh Pamela Jo… I do so want to know who took the bar exam for you…

Nothing says “strength” like worrying about what a teenager posts about you on social media.

Thank you! It is interesting that our relationships might take precedence over our experiences, but it does seem that way. My daughter is pursuing applied psychology in college, and I will definitely share the article.

This is a very interesting article. Thank you for writing and for all your hard work. I do have a question… in the case of so many of my R neighbors here in Florida, does the relationship part outweigh the experience part (e.g. experiencing climate change), keeping us red? Thanks!

Anyone know where this guy’s bar license is issued? Seems as though this would be grounds for an ethics investigation and possible removal from the bar.

Probably also due in part to our pasteurization process, but I have to believe the steroids have something to do with it too.

“Fast Car” was the first song evaluated in a music & lit class as part of my minor at UTx, years ago. So beautiful and heartfelt. I’m certain that class could never be taught now, as my alma mater craters; but, that song will always have a special place in my heart. What an amazing artist.

I think Sweden’s Gripin is getting ready to be the belle of the ball. Might want to invest in Saab.

After this backlash, I’m curious if he has the guts to follow through.

Thank you for gifting this article! I definitely learned something, particularly as I reflect on it as a FL resident. Additional cuts from the state level here would certainly come from education, which is heartbreaking. So many in our state no longer have children, so they just don’t care.

Such a fascinating read, particularly injecting Juan Linz’ thoughts. Not sure where we go from here, if the Executive doesn’t even acknowledge the existence of checks, much less balances. It was bad enough, but now they are using Andrew Jackson for justification. That should give everyone pause.

Fair enough.

Particularly since Braveheart took so many liberties with the truth.

100% agree! My thoughts exactly.
