one of things I find incredibly depressing is that after Renna’s death, Jim Leo (trainer and one of Tony’s closest friends) said that he wanted to quit after finding out Tony was killed in a crash. but Tony’s father, Joe, wanted him to continue. almost made me cry when I first read it.

this last one is my favorite, but I’m always sad whenever I see this picture. Renna was set to race for Chip Ganassi in 2004, reuniting with Scott Dixon. this suit looks so amazing on him, and it’s honestly a shame we never got to see him race in it. just like Indy 500 suit, this one is in my heart.

finally, we get to Renna’s most iconic suit. Kelley Racing’s Indy 500 suit. again, screw that sponsor on the suit. I honestly don’t really have a lot to say surprisingly, but this suit made us so familiar with Renna. it has a deep place in my heart.

the red + black Corteco suit really brings out the best of Tony. in my opinion, the sponsors make or break the suit; in this case they make it. besides *THAT* hideous one, the sponsors + colors have good design to them without being overbearing to the eye. perfectly balanced, you know.

moving onto the IRL, we got this little Kruse suit. this one is short lived and I honestly don’t really have a lot to say about it, I still added it in. this one most likely ranks at the near bottom, nothing interesting is going on.

this suit is one of my favorites. The Motorola suit, in which from 1999-2000, Renna was on the Pacwest team. This ranks 2nd place in my opinion. I love the grey to red sleeves, with the sponsors making them pop out. luckily there’s not a lot of sponsors on the torso, as it would overwhelm the suit.

this suit is one of my favorites. The Motorola suit, in which from 1999-2000, Renna was on the Pacwest team. This ranks 2nd place in my opinion. I love the grey to red sleeves, with the sponsors making them pop out. luckily there’s not a lot of sponsors on the torso, as it would overwhelm the suit.
if there’s three colors that Renna looks good in, one of them is definitely blue. the Mattco suit, in my opinion, has the loveliest shade of blue to contrast well with the white and black covering Tony. I also really like the silver cursive on the waist area of the suit, it’s super pretty.
