Repairs to arson-hit church to take two more years
Work on the chancel roof is due to finish next month but further repairs will take another two years.

Yes we are being rebuilt -sadly we lost all the alabaster but church is more than its decoration I guess. Lots more hard work ahead and money raising for some prefire work that needs doing

When an old friend dies - prepared him for confirmation, buried his wife’s mother, married them as an older couple- that sort of friendship is a blessing. Thanksgiving for the life of a faithful Christian and an all round lovely man.#RIP

I have surprised myself by making a rather lovely elderflower and lemon vodka. Last year I bought a bottle of vodka instead of gin so I infused it with elderflower and lemon. Great result !

Woohoo- (our church was burnt down by an arsonist) we may have a roof on the chancel by 2026! I’m so excited
