I think there are about 4 fairly popular math stat textbooks(Hogg, Larsen, Rice, Wackerly) that universities use right now, but I found this one to be the most enjoyable. It's self contained and the examples are fair. I used it before going to university to self teach.

Currently reading this at the moment. It's a quick read(I'm almost finished already!)! But it's very entertaining. I'd recommend this book to mathematicians and statisticians in industry.
