Wrote a bit about my experience this morning in response to a friend sharing a post about how things are getting worse & will continue to get worse before they get better.

My favorite recipe to make when I feel sick or tired & need a comforting soup.

Ingredients:
Carrot, onion, celery, garlic, vegetable broth/bouillon & water, soy crumbles, noodles, Italian seasoning blend, chili pepper flakes & soy sauce.
Directions: For accessibility I use a frozen package of pre chopped carrot, onion & celery, cooked in a pot with some oil till the onions are soft, then add in minced garlic, let that cook for a minute or two then add in your soy crumbles, Italian seasoning, chili flakes, a splash or two of soy sauce, & fill the rest of pot till it's 3/4 full with vegetable broth/bouillon & water. Bring soup to boil then add in noodles, cook till noodles are soft, add salt & pepper to taste & serve."

While some leaders push for increased police powers and tough-on-crime laws, we know that true safety comes from preventing harm. We can increase commmunity safety by ensuring everyone has access to affordable housing, education, healthcare and decent work.

Made this today. A delicious way to warm up on a stormy Autumn evening. If you prefer your peppers less soft you can add them in with the tomatoes after the sausage & onion is cooked. I added frozen & pre chopped alternatives in brackets in case of physical or time limitations.
