I am digging in more to figure out what is going on and wrote a bunch of questions. We will see how they respond. Overall it seems that they do certified APC profesional assessor which does meet medical standards in UK to diagnose Dyslexia, but they can not diagnose ADHD even though they are related

I am asking some questions regarding who actually does the evaluations. And at this time I am not totally clear. It is quite expensive so it would be I portent for this to be very clear, and know how this relates to medical diagnosis. For at least their ADD/ADHD assessment it is not medical.

She also talked some about why companies want to hire people on the neurodiversity spectrum, & it is because they are able to cut theiugh the crap & connect dots that others would never be able to see. And they can many times do it quickly, effortlessly and fast. So companies want that. Interesting.

It has been a long time, but I finally got a first consultation with one of the UK dyslexia / neurodiversity evaluation offices. They were very nice and just went directly into the questions and could immediately gadge some of the potential issues.

Anyone have information or contacts for dyslexic thinking certifications or dislexia diagnosis? I feel like we are looking for something official & meets a basic criteria with a minimum standard of scientific acceptance. Obviously it may be expensive to be evaluated by a profesional. Any ideas?

I got some great information today from the national ADA Technical Assistance hotline. 1 800 949 4232 they made it clear that the law states all diagnosis be current. So to have a right to dislexia thinking and be able to legally request access in a job search or grant, a profesional e al is key.

I finally talked to someone from the Davis Method and Dyslexia.com and they were very nice. They understand the concept behind Dyslexia as a Identity and way of thinking. They have resources including a Research section on picture thinking which I will post later. The course is a bit expensive. $6k

I hope I can turn it around & get support from people even if they don’t totally understand me. I swear even though my ideas are different they have value.

Doing some basic research in the news Dyslexic Thinking is a new term in the last few years. But seeing benifits start having articles going back at least to 2015 or before. It seems the topic expanded when they found out the majority of shark tank entrepreneurs are all dyslexic in 2018.
