Need expert help.
They had some ok answers. I would sum it up as “educational or medical diagnosis”. They say they do both. I don’t really understand but as long as I can get a medical diagnosis and it is legal I am good. So I’ll keep reporting back and see how it goes.

I am digging in more to figure out what is going on and wrote a bunch of questions. We will see how they respond. Overall it seems that they do certified APC profesional assessor which does meet medical standards in UK to diagnose Dyslexia, but they can not diagnose ADHD even though they are related

I am asking some questions regarding who actually does the evaluations. And at this time I am not totally clear. It is quite expensive so it would be I portent for this to be very clear, and know how this relates to medical diagnosis. For at least their ADD/ADHD assessment it is not medical.

Looks like when accounting for pounds to dollar conversion the full neurodiversity assessment package is about $3k

She also talked some about why companies want to hire people on the neurodiversity spectrum, & it is because they are able to cut theiugh the crap & connect dots that others would never be able to see. And they can many times do it quickly, effortlessly and fast. So companies want that. Interesting.

Lastly there was one very interesting thing that was exactly what we would expect to hear. She said that you can’t be fixed if you are diagnosed. There is no program or treatment for these evaluations, it is just the way you are and the way your brain works. So that is what we are looking for.

I’ll send more information soon. Here is the website: www.dyslexiatestcentre.co.uk

I’m excited about this, as my first step is just understanding what I am, what is my own identity. It is possible that scientifically I don’t even have dyslexia, but it is most likely an overlap of multiple things.
Dyslexia Test Centre | Online Dyslexia Assessments neurodiverse assessments
Dyslexia Test centre offers REMOTE/ONLINE dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and dyspraxia (for adults only) assessments by APC qualified, Professional Dyslexia Assessor Specialists.

So for just dyslexia, disgrsphia etc it would be $600-$700. And if you wanted a Autism / ADHD evaluation it would be an aditonal $700-$800. It technically would be possible to do the full Neurodiversity analysis for a little over $2k. So that is pretty cool as nowhere else offers that I could find.

The questions were random but also specific for remembering childhood traits. They said that they definitely feel I was on the spectrums of all the related dysgraphia dyslexia and autism, it is all related. They offer multiple peofedhinsl analysis options and the range is $600-$800 each.

Good to know. $6k seems steep. It also is against the concept of Dyslexic Thinking being an ability and instead being a liability that needs to be fixed. For now my focus is on getting re-diagnosed and then having a legal recondition for when interviewing so that it isn’t me who needs to change.

Dyslexia is different for each individual but more recent studies have found correlations and it is clearly not just spelling. I particularly like this research on Picture Thinking: www.dyslexia.com/research/res... But Davis has 10-15 categories of Research. The definition continues to evolve.
Research Topic: Picture-Thinking and Dyslexia
Dyslexia is strongly associated with a non-verbal thought process. Most dyslexic individuals report that they think mostly in pictures or other sensory impressions rather than words. This thought proc...

I also reworked the profile to be scientifically balanced. From what I’ve seen so far even if there are power/abilities, there seem to be weaknesses as well. And for each person it is different. But the research continues.

The research and journey continues. I will continue to document everything I can find. And hopefully it will provide answers and a clear path for using this new science and neurodiversity movement to actually benefit real people’s lives who have struggled for so long. One foot in front of the other.

My life has been a disaster and I have no access to anything and have been told I am unfundsble and unhirsble that I lost all hope. So now I have a glimmer of hope, but it is all still a dream. Where is the access? Where are the results.? How do people with Dyslexia get these benidits if at all?

I feel the same as you. That is why I am doing this research. My goal is to figure out what is really going on. I read and am told about how Dyslexic Thinking is a skill on Linked in and that neurodiversity can even be a pro for recruitment agencies, but it all seems too good to be true.

So far so found that if you have concerns with dyslexia & feel you would benefit if you had access to disléxic thinking services for job & funding opportunities, then one option that came up is talking to your normal doctor & directly being referred to a psychologist or other profesional evaluator.
