I was an AmeriCorps volunteer after high school. We did disaster relief for 9/11. AmeriCorps gave me housing, health insurance, and an education award I could put toward college tuition. All things I needed.

I spent most of November and part of December in Georgia, helping people get hurricane assistance. Here are some things I saw that have pretty much nothing to do with that!
