If you hike, swim, paint, visit museums, boat, hunt, fish, or meditate, public lands are for you. If you’ve never done any of that, public lands are still for you. Protecting our public lands means embracing lands’ many uses and users - it means protecting the heritage of hunting and fishing. #nps

NPS would lose support staff who literally keep the agency running & technical specialists who oversee the protection of our water, land, wildlife, & cultural resources.

AND the cuts aren't just NPS. They're trying to axe people in the Fish & Wildlife Service, BLM, USGS, and many more agencies.

After being ordered to, the DOI released confusing & ill-planned plans specifically targeting central planning & regional admin offices. If implemented #NPS could lose staff responsible for major projects like:
🦫 Dam removals
🚧 Construction & repairs for critical visitor amenities like roads

Saturday's #NoKings protests were incredible. Across the country we gathered 🫶🏼 on mountain trails & riverfronts, took over entire streets and places we love, to say what should never be forgotten:
