the "basic" tutorial being there, for example in plza, to explain the new mechanics. but hell, 99% of the cut scenes I've seen so far in the game are just pointless chatter. The mainline games are worse, they're very hand hold-y

I fully agree but also, consider, over a 1000+ years, she has to have walked in on random "quests" that ended up nsfw because she can't understand subtext to save her life. or she just totally misunderstood someone bc slang moves faster than her
