I'm of the opinion that every single pokemon game should keep the "basic" tutorial (how to catch pokemon, how to move and open the menus), and everything else should be 100% optional (having it in the set-up settings, as an option, like "disable tutorials" that exists already everywhere)
There's also the issue of cultural training.
Like, Pokemon Legends ZA has something like 3 hours of tutorials, and most of that padding is dialogue that only exists because they decided every function must be explained via an in-universe Story Arc.
