As someone who has had De Quervain's, you have my sympathies, and also I am so so glad for my own thumb/wrist brace even though I have needed it less and less over the past seven years.

Yessssss. So much this. The other day, a woman behind me in the store got hissy bc I wasn’t putting my groceries on the belt fast enough for her. She said “Are these your eggs? They’re in my way!!” To which I calmly replied, “It can be hard to wait sometimes, can’t it? But I know you can do it.”
