Woman shot by ICE agents in Chicago last Saturday has been released from custody today by judge since body cam footage contradicted the government's claim she drove toward the agents. Instead, it revealed the agent saying, "Do something, bitch," before pulling over and shooting her five times.

The Impoundment Control Act (ICA) of 1974 says that once Congress passes a spending bill and the president signs it, the executive branch must spend those funds as directed. The president cannot withhold, delay, or cancel those funds for political or policy reasons without congressional approval.

In Chicago, a priest raised his hands in prayer and ICE shot him in the head at point-blank range as he crumbled to the ground. The ammunition was not lethal, but it was targeted at a man who only wished for the violence against law-abiding citizens to end.
