GenX/millenial cusp - remember them but they were largely on the way out by the late 80s. I think they disappeared around the same time that "smoking sections" in restaurants did.

First laptop my folks had was a bit smaller... Maybe closer to 10 pounds but it was a Tandy 1400LT - no hard drive, but had two 3.5" floppy drives (one for DOS, one for software). Used to use og WordPerfect on there for writing, and would occasionally play PC Ninja.

Also - Can I speak to this propensity for the fanbase to immediately grasp at just about any excuse they can find to hate a player as soon as they're traded? This whole "didn't get on the bus to say goodbye" thing and stuff being indications he wasn't "captain" material kinda reeks of copium.

And it's not based off a matter of trust - I don't necessarily trust a private owner much more than a corporation. But in a corporation, they are legally obliged to make their priority be profits, and any assertion towards ethical practice can't legally be anything more than lip service.

However, as soon as those services are being handled with regards to a fiduciary responsibility to shareholders, any attempt to ensure that these are handled ethically or with best practices focused for those who receive the services goes out the window for profits.

You'll note I'm not talking about private companies. I recognise that governments that are regulating and facilitating these services aren't always the most well-equipped to provide these services and private contracting may be necessary.

I'm sorry, but over the last 10 games, we've averaged 4.5 goals against. That's in both wins and losses. We really need to stop acting like scoring is the problem.
