It’s sexist to disenfranchise women and lie to them while you’re doing it. They‘re not proposing we just have to “show an ID.” They’re proposing proving citizenship which is totally different. I can show my Real ID, but it doesn‘t match my birth certificate.

Right, but they can’t do nothing and let voters be harassed/attacked at polling places. Doing nothing is not an option. Again, I don’t know the answer; that’s their job to figure out.

They’re against global trade? And yet American corporate CEOs keep bending the knee to these clowns? At the same time Americans are becoming poorer and goods more expensive for us. So who is going to buy American products? Talk about slitting your own throat.

I don’t know with what; that’s why they have to start planning now. I would think at a minimum they can erect barriers and enforce the law dictating how close people can stand to the polling areas.

I agree there was some failure to grasp how horrible he is and what he would do. But I think it was willful ignorance in most cases. 🤷♀️

Not to mention that an “official language” only means the government can solely use that language in its communications and services. It doesn’t mean a performer can‘t do a halftime show for a private entity in Spanish. 🙄

I think they understood. They just cared more about what his reelection, (and frankly, his first election), would mean for their clicks, views, and ratings. They made a choice and we’re all living with it.

Even if they waived the passport fee, which won’t happen, they’ll just sit on the processing of the passports so they won‘t be available in time for the election.
