I've been chewing on what Professor Harvey Kwiyani writes in this post for years! We watched Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda graciously receive refugees when neighbors were in turmoil. I find it dumbfounding that wealthy nations in Western Europe and North America can't find the same generosity of spirit
