It's an unimaginable tragedy for the parents. But the officials they voted for are probably busy trying to find a way to blame all of this on Biden. I'm surprised that Trump hasn't but it's still early...

Exactly. If the 2A was meant to let private citizens fight tyranny or repel foreign invaders, then we should be allowed to own howitzers, mortars, helicopter gunships, land mines, gun boats, etc. Mere semi-automatics will be useless against a tyrannical gov or a foreign army.

The billionaire donors of these Republican politicians are starting to hurt. They will probably lean on the senators and reps they own to rein Trump in. It will be interesting to see if Musk will come to Trump's aid and threaten these politicians with primary challenges.

Elon is now toxic to voters, except maybe in the most MAGA primaries. Trump will soon (if he hasn't done so yet) realize that Elon's millions cannot help anymore - except for primary threats for GOP elected officials who defy him.

Social security benefits are self-funded (from FICA taxes, income taxes on SS benefits, and income from trust fund) so why they heck are they always showing them as part of the general government expenditures??

Agree. I support health care for transgender youths, letting them use bathroom accdg to gender identity, protections from discrimination, etc. but sports where masculine muscle is an advantage may not be fair. A compromise could be let them compete as guest and not for medal.

A lie repeated a thousand times becomes the truth. Trump and the GOP learned that from Hitler and mastered it. We need to VERY LOUDLY and REPEATEDLY expose every single lie everywhere people can hear. Failure to do so is one of the key reasons we lost.
