The snow, ice, and rain line is slowly moving northward toward the Metro at this hour. Just west of Avalon, the snow is very heavy right now. The visibility in Goobies and Clarenville appears to be very low on the provincial highway cameras in the area. #nlwx

Quick low tracks in late tonight with snow for the middle third of the Island into midday Sunday. Starts as rain east, ending as wet snow. Temps marginal, so mainly grassy accums, but slick spots possible around Gander/Bay d’Espoir Sun AM. Snow 2–5 AM, ends 11–2. Not major. #nlwx
