I’ll never forget the delusional optimism I had, telling myself John would get Arthur’s horse in Red Dead Redemption 2. Like some kind of poetic passing of the torch. If you know, you know… and if you don’t, just know I’m still emotionally devastated.

Trouble, yes, but the kind I’d burn for,
the kind I’d surrender to.
In your arms, the world fades,
and all that’s left is us,
a storm that feels like home.

I don’t need to chase the endless scroll,
I just want to amplify, to make others whole,
To give voice to those who are drowned in noise,
To speak for the silenced, not just for the toys.

You stood in the light,
A festival’s glow in your eyes,
Every corner of the country,
You bring to life under the skies.

I just read the world’s oldest person recently died. And I seem to read these headlines from time to time.

Has anybody looked into why so many of the world’s oldest keep dying? Is there a serial killer?

I demand a full investigation into this. Every single former worlds oldest person is dead -

To all the authors who have published: what’s something you wish other authors had told you about the process?

Whether it’s the writing, the editing, or the rollercoaster of emotions that come with publishing—what’s the insight you wish you’d had before diving in?

Your beauty rivals the lightning’s flash,
As it lights up the darkened sky,
But it’s your smile, soft and brash,
That truly leaves me high.

In the downpour, we’re alone,
The world fades, and it’s just us two,
And in that storm, I’ve always known,
I’m hopelessly, endlessly, in love with you.

The way you move, with poise and grace,
The world falls still to watch your pace.
A quiet strength, a tender care,
A heart so bold, a love so rare.

We search for connections in crowded places, but perhaps the most profound bonds are the ones that aren’t seen, but felt. A touch, a glance, a silence shared—these are the moments when two spirits recognize each other, not just as partners, but as kindred souls.

To all the dreamers with ink-stained fingers and hearts full of stories: keep writing. Our words have the power to inspire, to heal, and to change the world.

In your eyes, the night is young,
And every star reflects its glow,
I trace the edges of your world,
And find the love you never show.
