4000 km2 of new homes empty in China, with dramatic environmental consequences. 2.2 billion tons of unneeded material extraction, 1.4 billion tons of CO2 could have been avoided. Important work by Shi Lei and team.

Norway has significant tax subsidies for home ownership, that rise with income and wealth. The more expensive your home, the higher the tax subsidy. This leads to a highly uneven distribution of living space, high costs, tiny rooms for students, too large houses for the elderly. 2/

Keine Frage. Die ganze liberale Ordnung, innerhalb derer FFF erfolgreich war, ist jetzt unter die Räder gekommen. Das ist nicht ein Versagen von FFF, sondern unserer Gesellschaft insgesamt. Wir brauchen ein breiteres Narrativ und Wille zur politischen Organisation und Handlung, um dem zu entgegenen.
