I’ve Endured Two Years of Genocide. But I’m Still Here.
The world before October 7, 2023, is a distant memory. But we carry on, fueled by the determination that this land will become a place of life once more.

For people who are afraid to give to Gaza fundraisers directly (no judgement, I know civil servants in the U.S. for example can get into trouble for it) you can always hire/support the many people who donate all the time theintercept.com/2025/10/02/g...

I refuse to let hopelessness prevail. This may just be one essay, by a lawyer few have heard of, in a newsletter read by a fraction of the public. But I will not stay silent.

Will you?

We must push back as strongly as we can, every time. We will not vote for politicians who do less

HAPPENING NOW — This morning, Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order establishing “ICE-free zones.”

“That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as grounds for these raids,” Johnson said to applause.

This afternoon, I sat with Palestinian New Yorkers in Astoria and listened to what they and their families have endured as the genocide in Gaza continues, funded by our government.

In the face of immeasurable grief, they have showed unbreakable resilience.
