It's a bummer to see the iceberg memes circulating again. I know they're a thing that fandoms make, but both ofmd versions have some really nasty, bad faith stuff on them that remind a lot of real ppl about a lot of real harassment that happened. Yeah, some of the stuff is silly but a lot isn't. 1/2

it should be taught in schools! it’s insane to me that it isn’t! still having to explain what trans even is to adults is maddening

and, yes, if it was taught in schools, i would’ve trotted home all excited at like 7 to tell my family i’m boy now but consider that that would’ve been awesome??
