Being a black woman in a male-dominated area is soooo exhausting!
I’m so tired of explaining to others (especially black men) that the rules are not the same for me.
I have to be twice as good… and it stresses me out.
I really want to quit sometimes.

My daughter had her 8th grade formal the other night along with a lot of other kids.
No shade, but I’m glad my daughter still looked like she was in 8th grade.
No lashes, lace front, full glam face etc.
I did a little mascara, slight eyeshadow and lip gloss

I love planning trips but now I think I will just stick to trips that involve my spouse, one of my other good reliable friends, or just myself.
The lack of commitment, communication and attention to deadlines irritates me when it comes to organizing group trips.
