In T Mrs. Cox's classroom, there are so many ways to tackle a challenge!

Here are a few of her favorites to offer learners:

Photograph of a hand in front of a bright background. The hand is holding a sheet of paper offering next steps for students instead of the phrase "I don't know" (such as asking for more information or asking to repeat the question). Then, in the second half of the paper, there are "math sentence stems," which offer sentence stems like "I can visualize this problem by ______" and "This reminds me of _______".

Finding the appropriate podcasts for your content can be a time-consuming task, and it’s possible you may not discover anything appropriate. Creating your own podcasts may require some technical skills, though not as many as you may think. wp.me/peKPOF-k || #EduSky #AcademicSky #EdTech
Create or curate? As with any non-academic source, the content of the podcasts themselves could be rigorous and balanced, or it could be baseless. In any case, both of these are effective for use in your course content, the former being used for understanding and the latter could be used to prompt discussion and critical thinking.

Project-based learning can be a powerful learning framework, but it often excludes students who need a different approach. On this week's podcast, John Spencer shares five changes we can make to help every student thrive in a project-based environment.

“To him, though, there is no conflict between these pursuits. Together, they represent something of a philosophy for life.” Read about a scientist who pursues deep research and recreational science—and argues that both are necessary. (via @quantamagazine.bsky.social) buff.ly/f05dLJS #ScienceSky

Learning about ancient dice is just one of many mathematical journeys you can take. buff.ly/JF6cD12 #MathSky #MTBoS
A 1970s Italian expedition to the Burnt City (Shahr-e Sukhteh), located in the southeastern part of Iran, explored a graveyard in the ancient city and found a set of four elongated dice and 27 tokens, crafted about 4,500 years ago. This four-value die evolved into the modern six-sided cubical die."
