Tomorrow, The Fourth Age comes to an end...

The forces of The Dark Tree descend upon the Reunited Kingdom of Arnor and Gondor. And all that stand between this ancient evil and the ruination of Middle-earth are six heroes: a fellowship.

Our third and final season begins tomorrow, 12:30pm Pacific.

Six individuals stood together, looking down into a cloudy valley:

- Theodas. A muscular Elf with strong dark features, framed by a thick, greying beard, wearing a grey cloak over a dull golden chestpiece.
- Iairen. A human with handsome, dark features, his face framed with long brown hair with a soft kink to it, wearing a dark blue robe. He holds a spherical seeing-stone in his hands.
- Mistiel. An Elf with beautiful dark features and long white braids, wearing a hooded auburn cloak over dark leather armour.
- Eona. A woman with tanned features and long black hair, intertwined with golden scales, wearing heavy brown leather armour and a single steel pauldron with fur lining.
- Chicory Taproot. A Hobbit with delicate, pale features, and wavy brown hair, wearing a flowing purple dress, with white frills and an apron.
- Aerlind. A tall and handsome Elf with deep black, straight hair and elven robes in shades of sea blues and greens. In his hand he carries a golden astrolabe.

Theodas means so much to me. He is how I first came to play with @jwcartwright.bsky.social, and through that, find a deep, brotherly friendship.

We've already recorded the first of Theodas' vignettes, and they are as rich and emotional as you imagine. I'm so excited for us to close out his story.

I have never met anyone who loves Tolkien so much as @estelofimladris.bsky.social, and that love is no more evident than in Aerlind's portrayal.

Cai has utterly transformed our story in such beautiful, poignant ways since Book Two. That we get to close out said story alongside them means the world.

As we approach our final season, I will have plenty to say about our cast. And first up is Bec.

What @causticphoenix.bsky.social has built with Eona is extraordinary; a uniquely human tale in Tolkien's Middle-earth. When Bec sent me her backstory, I wept.

By tale's end, I've no doubt I will again.
