This is the truly scary thing and all of the U.S. congress should be held responsible for allowing this to happen and continue. Things are going to come to a head sooner than most realize...
it’s hard not to feel disillusioned when reporting all the flagrantly illegal and terrifying things this government is doing somehow doesn’t fully break through to the mainstream. it feels like cable news and corporate media made a deal to convince people to keep calm and carry on.

For my fellow Wisconsinites, with all that's happening at the federal level we need to keep an eye towards April 1st when we'll be voting for an open seat on the WI State Supreme Court. With liberal Ann Walsh Bradley retiring, allowing conservative candidate Brad Schimel to win could spell disaster.

I love the beauty of snow. This is the first in Madison in the past couple of weeks, and over the last several years this dusting represents the typical accumulation much more closely than what most would associate with the Northern Midwest.
