On a tangentially related note - "war crimes" are internationally sanctioned actions. Making it "constitutional" to commit war crimes would not relieve us of our international legal commitments not to do war crimes, or insulate us from international consequences for doing so!

If the villain doesn't express true sociopathy, it's harder to distinguish their (unacceptable) violence to achieve a preferred end from the heroes (righteous) violence to preserve their preferred outcome.

So kudos to Peter Thiel for expressing his villainous intent in words even kids understand.

The airlines are still recovering from the shutdown where all the air traffic controllers weren't being paid, so everybody is nervous to fly and has been warned a dozen times to budget for extra delays and chaos. Why can't we all be in a good mood at the airport?
