NOW YOU MAY HAVE NOTICED THAT I SNUCK IN ANOTHER, DIFFERENT ISRC THAT WAS *NOT* THE RADIO REMIX.

YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE HOW APPLE MUSIC REPORTS THAT ISRC TOO.
January 18, 2026 at 10:41 PM
I have zero idea how AM reports these. especially bc all three of those variants of The Good Life have their own ISRCs! all three of these releases are on the same damn release, so... how?? how???????????

what the HELL

it's kind of deeply frustrating. I have been Apple Music's biggest proponent for _YEARS_ (it really does do many things quite a lot better) but ultimately it is worse. I wrote an entire fucking post about it medium.com/@loveshock/a...
Apple Music: Ten years old, and still ten years behind
Apple’s music streaming service survives its first decade — but why is it still struggling to compete with Spotify?
