like, whatever processing steps it is doing *before* actually sending the audio out is probably fucking it up. we presume it handles this step so features like AutoMix / DJ function, or so track skips are near-instant, but it's definitely doing *something*

I also don't really think this actually has to do with the file being served up, either; I really do think this is specifically _because_ of how Spotify is actually playing/processing the audio streams in-client

there aren't any. we have access to a working AM ripper locally too, but there weren't any lossless rippers before The Annaing and there certainly aren't any now unfortunately
