it's incredibly easy to make up "legal tests" that encourage conservatism. originalism, textualism, "history and tradition" are all tests that default to stopping any progress in its tracks

People need to understand that LLMs are not miracle boxes; they're just guessing on EVERYTHING, and often times they're not even "educated" guesses

The lack of critical thinking pawned off to LLMs when they're this early in their lifecycle is honestly frightening

Usually the first opinions of the term are easy, unanimous decisions. The first one being a 5-4 decision might be an omen of terrible decisions to come (scotus likes to hold on to "controversial" opinions for later into the term)
