I surveyed the ganqing source material last night and I do think it's a slightly more difficult than average ship to pull off, two workaholics with different attitudes toward themselves and other people in power that lead them to very different personalities etc

I think I got more mentally ill this month cuz I never scrolled so bad before and also I am like 60% more anxious about not spending time getting better at/doing art I just get so pessimistic about whether I'll achieve anything as soon as I start stalling

I will say it hurts to try and put your vision to paper and feel like you are actively disrespecting and defacing it against your will. This is a problem that took me a long time to learn how to deal with and I'm still figuring it out kinda
a gentle reminder that you don't need to wait to be good enough to write or draw the things you wanna draw
you get better through creating the things you wanna make, not by waiting to become better to make things
