Det gör jag med. ;)

Okay, is it just me or is this guy as stupid as Gustave?
February 14, 2026 at 8:30 PM
Whoa... I cut off my sentences as if I was Captain Kirk! 🤣

–What's the reason we don't we have one of those now again?
–Have you ever heard of Charles Darwin, Mr. Cadwell?
–Who hasn't?
–Then you surely know he spoke of survival of the fittest and not survival of wilful idiots.
–Crikey, doc, now you're just hurting my feelings!

Yeah! I must admit I've never taken on Strong or Cait as companions (because I don't care much for them) but of those I've actually tagged along with, MacCready is my least favourite. They guy is an asshole! 😀

but in PoE2, using sarcasm or joking can make that snotty elf in your company like you less, whilst another one will like you more for it. Not very consistent for good party dynamics.
February 14, 2026 at 3:11 PM
In PoE2 they won't give you that chance; they'll just leave you. ;P

In Fo4 it's quite logical; every companion reacts differently to different things; for example Nick Valentine likes it when you're nice to people and robots and Paladin Danse hates it if you're nice to friendly ghouls
February 14, 2026 at 3:11 PM
I always bring Nick to Far Harbour. I mean, anything else would be stupid.

an otherwise great game.
February 14, 2026 at 1:48 PM
Same here, but speaking of consequences of one's actions it can sometimes be exaggerated. In Pillars of Eternity 2 they have this stupid reputation system where you kind of have to walk as if you're treading on glass in order not to piss off your companions. It kind of takes some fun out of
February 14, 2026 at 1:48 PM
(which I never can be bothered with) but in Fo3 there's literally nothing to do when you've done everything, which makes continued play pointless.
February 14, 2026 at 1:34 PM
Well, there _are_ consequences but less than in other role playing games. The thing that I like least with Fo4 (and 3) is that there is no definite ending but when you've done the main quests you can still play on forever. In Fo4 that's a good thing for people who like building on their settlements

"Plot nonsense"? Okay, I admit that it's definitely not the best written Fallout game and all the micro managements (repair armour, unload all collected crap, etc) sometimes makes it take half an hour before you can actually start playing but there are worse games. :)

He has a detective agency and really talks like a noir PI.
February 14, 2026 at 1:10 PM
That's Nick Valentine from Fallout 4 and he's the best companion ever! 😀
February 14, 2026 at 1:05 PM
At least until you realise that it's going too fast to make a sharp turn. ;)

Jag menade fenomenet i sig snarare än just _den här_ försvinnande stjärnan. :)

It’s spelled ”smart”.
