The idea for the partnership came up in early 2023, so it’s something we’ve been working on for a long time. I was this close 🤏🏻 to being on campus to start the series this month and now it’s been delayed indefinitely.

I made more art this year than I have in over a decade, and looking back it’s fun to see where some unexpected turns took me: in particular, a 2’x4’ painting of a giant red tentacled monster attacking the International Space Station inspired by a conversation with NASA astronaut Don Pettit
