The story summary reads: The beautiful and elegant Evelyn Zhang recently became a widow, and her newly acquired wealth has raised suspicions. When the police fail to find any evidence of foul play, Evelyn’s mother-in-law hires a pair of private detectives. Despite a clear motive, Evelyn committed no murder. Her two black cats are not so innocent, however, and they will do whatever it takes to protect their beloved human.
