I'm a denizen of Philadelphia who writes strange and eerie stories about the hidden mysteries and quiet horrors of everyday life. You can find my fiction collections and minicomic zines on Itchio and Etsy.

FOUR is an original story with fresh and unique characters that I'd love to follow through future mishaps, but fans of The Magnus Archives + The Magnus Protocol are really going to want to check this one out. "Surreal corporate horror" is such a vibe right now, and this minicomic nails it

I had a great time with @palposak.bsky.social's minicomic FOUR, in which an accountant notices a computing error with reality-bending implications. Posak's brilliant coloring gets the late-nite fluorescent glare of corporate liminal spaces exactly right. 🖥️ www.shortboxcomicsfair.com/shop-sq4wj/p...
A few panels from Pal Posak's minicomic FOUR. An overzealous accountant claims that "It's too late... We need to eject him from the system." The 'it' in question, a cute and fluffy black crow-thing, squarks at him while perched on a piece of machinery. Some days at work are just like that, you know?

Oh man this is so true. Literally every time I interact with the furry community, I'm reminded of how much I love and appreciate the furry community.

The furry community is, and has always been a load bearing pillar of the internet, from maintaining the infrastructure that runs the web to some of the best artists in the biz, and they deserve their flowers

Serious shoutout to furries for being the internet's #1 art patrons. At a time when interest in original and niche art is at an all time low and many other art spaces are gone, I appreciate you guys showing up to boost original works, buy art pieces & comms, & get vocally invested in stories & OCs.

I love the stylish gothic fantasy of @narrenstrich.bsky.social's minicomic Asunder, especially as it plays in the visual dichotomy between sunlit open spaces and nighttime intimacies bounded by heavy stone walls. The tragic yuri is impeccable. 👑 www.shortboxcomicsfair.com/shop-sq4wj/p...
Panels from Narrenstitch's minicomic Asunder. On waking in the night, the teenage companion to a queen overhears a secret conversation in the courtyard below her castle window.

I've thought about this! I'm not sure it would be able to feel petting through its chitinous exoskeleton, but it chirps if you repeatedly pogo on it, and it makes a sort of purring croon if you play the Needolin next to it. Both of which of I do every time, because of course

I love the Bell Beast from Silksong so much that I made a vinyl sticker for myself. I have a small number of extras, and I put them on Etsy for basically the price of shipping if you'd like one. 🌿 www.etsy.com/listing/4384...
A photo of a vinyl sticker of Hornet and the Bell Beast from Silksong. The art of this brave lady knight and her faithful steed was drawn by me!

I cannot express to you how urgent it is that we all loudly and constantly support queer media right now. It is my number one goal for this year, to support and promote as many queer artists as possible.

I adore @paperflan.bsky.social's minicomic A Box Full of Darkness, in which a young mage attempts necromancy to bring back the spirit of her cat familiar. Losing a companion is difficult, but the artist handles the theme of grief with care and grace. 🔮 www.shortboxcomicsfair.com/shop-sq4wj/p...
A panel from Gina Nguyen's minicomic A Box Full of Darkness. A young woman speaks to the spirit of her cat familiar, telling it, "Thank you, and... I'm sorry." I won't lie, I teared up a little at this scene.

The algorithm on Tumblr has observed that I like Silksong, and now it's started recommending posts about Revolutionary Girl Utena. That's an interesting and apt connection, but also, how rude for the machine to call me out like this

Same here. Every day the same disappointment smh.

I love how he's perfectly on model yet also distinctly drawn in your own style. And just, his face! His smile! The fashion! The pose!! Ahhhhhh you're making me fall in love with Tenna all over again ❤️💛

Thank you so much for creating this comic, and thank you for doing the work to get it out into the world. The horror elements are brilliant and super effective... but also, now I really want to get some flowers and crayons and make art 😅

I really enjoyed A Little Beauty, @lauraknetzger.bsky.social's new minicomic. Botanical horror delights in uncontrollable growth, and this story transposes the uncanny sense of disconnect between nature and society onto the process of artistic creation. 🌻 www.shortboxcomicsfair.com/shop-sq4wj/p...
A panel from A Little Beauty. A smiling woman rests her head on a table cluttered with art materials as a vase of sunflowers(?) looms over her ominously. The caption reads: "The flowers never wilted." This is a horror story about feeling so inspired that you lose your sense of self in the dangerous territory of mania, but still. May at least one of those flowers never wilt.
