The emo/hardcore/punk scene from this era was before smartphones and social media, but there were people who taped shows at the time. We're at a point where this footage could be lost forever if it's not documented and cataloged now. The FOBAT folks are actively seeking submissions from this era.

Neurodivergent people in general are at risk of considering themselves or being considered fuck ups. Diagnoses can help things click & make sense, this is why I always had such trouble with the basic parts of being in the world. I’m built different than people it comes easy to. And I deserve care.

We had to take them to court over and over in Chicago, but when it was clear the judge was going to haul Bovino in to answer for the next round of violations, the out-of-town units left. It's slow and infuriating, but it's another lever to pull that can get traction, yes.
