This thread adequately captures how my first Sister Claire Kickstarter was handled, as it was happening simultaneously.

It's not an exaggeration to say this experience traumatized me to the point of being afraid to ever Kickstart a book again (Sister Claire books 2-4 have no physical editions)

Managing the kickstarter was immediately difficult, because there were two others happening at the time, Go Get A Roomie vol 1 had just wrapped, and Yamino launched Sister Claire vol 1 the second ours ended.

Still super proud of everyone involved in this! One thing not mentioned is that behind the scenes, the co-op was able to help move a lot of creators off HW hosting so their comics are protected in the long term- collective action WORKS.
