And putting "trauma-informed" in front of your project does not make it less extractive or exploitative.
Things I look for:
1) Are they offering me a chance to publish or am I helping them build their CV?
2) If my "lived experience" will be used for some purpose, will I be part of deciding how/when

Centrism shares the goals of the right wing, but wishes to use the aesthetics of the left wing.
This is why you won't see centrists advocating for universal healthcare, or for preventing police killing people, or for housing homeless people, or unconditional support for LGBTQ people, etc.

Imagine if the government was forcing children to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day or live on top of a nuclear waste site (things we also do to people via environmental harm). That's what they are doing in terms of killing people. Some will die sooner; some later. But they are all losing life.
