important to note that I get worked up about this shit because my group in Texas - which spread across the state - meant a hell of a lot and gave shelter and community to people like me, who felt safe in a hostile state because I defended that shelter for us.

Here’s the thing about social media moderation: you need to have both a provision and a practice of keeping people off your platform even if they don’t break any of your rules but are simply just a fucking asshole. And of course off-platform behavior is a legitimate reason.

the good news is at least that the people who *matter* stayed on our server with me and told these two guys to piss up a rope. *BattleTexas* is now nearly 700 strong, has its own logo, dice sets, shirts, and IIRC hosted two separate events at local conventions *and* brought in BT authors to them.

my reward was for them to remove me because I threw out people who were plotting actual hate crimes against me where they thought I wouldn't see and then immediately let the Funko Cuck responsible for basically all the conflict in the group back in, because he coordinated it outside of it.

important to note that that group was *dead* before I started doing things with it. the lead guy basically was inviting people to his house to play on his 3D printed terrain table and doing very little to barnraise at local stores or conventions. all of that shit I did myself, pro bono.
