Yeah I think he was a little on edge and snippy from jet lag but my understanding is that while he was gone his family was spoiling her and not keeping her on her routine.

Fun fact: Properly fitting a collar on a big fluffy dog is actually a pain in the ass thanks to all the floof.

And you'll pretty much always end up making it too tight because "dog loses his collar" makes it a lot harder to get your dog back if it runs away.
