It's really not brought up enough how any Dem admin following a GOP admin has to spend pretty much its first two years just putting out arson fires set by the GOP before it can even really START to work on its own agenda.

Yeah our smaller dog is an escape artist with her collar.
izzos.us
Oh yeah there's other options if it's that big of a pain. What's been happening here though is basically a harassment campaign against this guy claiming he's abusing his dog based on...vibes? Grudges? Something definitely other than...actual evidence.
izzos.us
Fun fact: Properly fitting a collar on a big fluffy dog is actually a pain in the ass thanks to all the floof.

And you'll pretty much always end up making it too tight because "dog loses his collar" makes it a lot harder to get your dog back if it runs away.

"oh this is fake", are you sure about that?
izzos.us
Again, why do you feel it's your job to be a cop on here?
izzos.us
So we can make fun of Mike? Why do you think it's on your to police someone's timeline like this?
izzos.us
It's hard not to at least be amused by the character he puts on for media.

So she should find someone to administer the oath, a SCOTUS justice would bring the most clout, and demand her seat OR a formal expulsion/refusal to seat from the body itself.

The House would have to reject her, Johnson can't just do it on his own initiative.
izzos.us
Right - which means she forces the issue. Right now Johnson is using the fact that her election isn't official yet to justify things.

Once it is official he has to come up with some other reason or get the House to reject her as a body.
izzos.us
I imagine he'd try to block her. But the Constitution requires that members of Congress take an oath, it doesn't specify who has to administer it. That the Speaker does is just tradition.

She should do it to force the issue.
izzos.us
Basically. Once her election is certified by the state he doesn't have any legitimate cover to hide behind to claim she's not entitled to the seat.
If he refuses to swear her in then she should get one of the SCOTUS justices to do it and take her place.

Also...isn't Bill Kristol also Jewish?

This literally appears to be "You cannot criticize any Jewish person on Oct 7."
izzos.us
It's even more bizarre it's basically "You criticize a Jewish person on Oct 7"

There's a dark humor "Day of my daughter's wedding" Godfather joke in here...
izzos.us
Yeah definitely seems like one of those "see [term]" flip to definitions "see [other term]" traceback things.
izzos.us
From the article:

"The law requires "manual workers" be paid weekly, vaguely defining a manual worker as "a mechanic, workingman or laborer" who "spends more than 25% of working time engaged in" physical labor."

So yeah it's vague for sure
izzos.us
Sure seems to be...
Also it's a "double standard" because "lots of journalists have outside jobs"
Which...there's having an "outside job" and having a conflict of interest...
izzos.us
I think they should have a claim against their payroll company for this. But I also find it interesting the article didn't talk to any of the workers/former workers apparently.

And the "it's like family" here always makes me go "ohhh...yeah...you're cutting corners for sure"
izzos.us
Oh he does, his claim is that "the timing [of Josh's post] on Oct 7" is proof of anti-Semitism.
izzos.us
I mean, are you suggesting Joshua was behind the posting of the article on Oct 7?
izzos.us
So you think Joshua, a Jewish man, deliberately targeted from BECAUSE of Jewishness based on...a coincidence of timing.

Are you familiar with the phrase "think horses, not zebras?"

Also, "outside work" is one thing "writing a book about the guy I'm specifically reporting on" is...another
izzos.us
What...exactly...would you consider "close" to genocide?
izzos.us
What...exactly...about Joshua's post suggests he's criticizing Frum based on his Judaism?
izzos.us
git.law
Oh FUCK no...just no no no no

i have met a number of pigs, including pigs i later went on to eat (we have small farmers in our family) and quite frankly, getting to know pigs has made me feel even less bad about eating them

they would 100% eat us if given the chance

Would this affect anyone granted parole after the expiration of the board?
