This is my author account. I am all for fairness and justice. I write thriller/dystopian with female-centered protagonists mostly.

Got questions about the book, project, author process. ect, feel free to ask them.
Maybe is better to just… move on to the next scene. Tackle that hard scene later. Put a note on it and keep going, otherwise it will kill your momentum.

Smells evoke a greater degree of memory and remembering than any other sense you have. I’ll put it up for the test. The smell of hot, acrid garbage with garbage juice leaking. You smelled it in your mind right? Now, the smell of freshly brewed coffee? Scents elevate your scenes better than visual.

I finally wrote Chapter 15 and 16 of the romantic tragedy I’ve been working on for the better part of a month. I don’t write books/stories this quick. If I finish this before the full month comes in (end of this week) I’ll be bloody surprised at how quick I did this official first draft.

It seems a lot of fanfic writers are using damn AI to get their work done. Thats such a dumb thing. They take the creative part of writing out of it, print a pre-generated story out of a two-sentence thing they have and then have the gall to say they wrote it. No you didn’t, you lying dolt!

Idk why this phrase has stuck with me so long.

The boring scenes you struggle with are the bridges that connect all the cool scenes you really want to write. Without those boring scenes the book doesn’t make sense.

Most of the things I write. Feelings, emotions, and everything in between, I have experienced at some point. The relatable parts. The heartbreak and the loss. Helps make the story real.

Just because you don’t feel a scene while you’re writing it doesn’t mean is not working. Trust yourself a little bit more. It’ll make sense when you look at it again in the morning.

Drawing from first hand experiences will help you write better emotions. If you know how heartbreak feels, you can use that for your novel. And when in lack of those, research also helps.

When you write something, you’re going to read that a million times, so much so that eventually when you go back to read it, you just skim over a lot of it because, of course, you’ve read it a million times already.

Terrifying
Academics and technologists are sounding the alarm about a growing crisis in scholarship as we know it: AI-generated citations of nonexistent papers that have infested real journals. Despite being fake, the sources are widely assumed to be authentic the more they appear in published literature.
AI Is Inventing Academic Papers That Don't Exist -- And They're Being Cited in Real Journals
Academic articles from authors using large language model are creating an ecosystem of fake research that threatens human knowledge itself.

Turns out, deciding to develop this romantic tragedy I came up with is been pretty fun (meanwhile the main WIP is sitting there, waiting for me to finish chapter 9)

Wrote a spin-off tragic romance story outline and by the end broke my own heart. I want to make clear that I pantsed this whole story and didn’t even know where it was going until the end. I even almost cried.

Working outside is all fun and games until you have to deal with the *weather*. I now have a deeper respect for my characters who do work outside on a daily basis.

I’ve been on this earth long enough to see the invention of dating apps and I still have no clue how to work one to my advantage.

In other news, i downloaded several new games on steam last week and figured out the next few scenes of the book.

Want to bring realistic feelings to your work? Use your past experiences and use them to describe what the character is feeling right this moment. Sad, hurt, heartbreak, etc. it works wonders.

Rain and Sleet day today. And I was going to wash my car. Forecasted more rain/sleet/snow rest of the week. Nothing to do but just roll with it I guess.

I think one of my favorite scenes in the book is when one of the characters, who is usually standoffish and mean shows weakness and allows themselves to be vulnerable, even if is just for a few moments. Definitively, if you want more, check out the book.

Is so cold outside today my hands are freezing. Why not wear gloves you ask? I have to use nitril gloves for my kind of work outside.

Sometimes is good to throw a wrench into your story when you are stuck. If it doesnt work out, you can always delete.
November 23, 2025 at 2:08 PM
Writing advice is all well ans good but if you don’t put it into practice, then is worthless. Dont be afraid to have your characters suffer consequences. Dont coddle them. Otherwise the danger feels fake. If your character doesn’t come out of the other end with scars, then what was it for?
