To think how much effort past presidents expended on keeping their engineered coups covert.

Levelized costs of energy (LCOE, which we can also think of as cost per unit of electricity) in 2009 and 2019.

Coal is now three times more expensive than solar energy.

I'm not sure that actually matters, because this is probably merely today's tactic for dominating the news with anything, anything other than the Epstein files or the crap economy.

There's also a project to document every exhibit and sign at Smithsonian Institution museums.

Good to see: @schiff.senate.gov and eight other Dem senators are pressing FCC chair Brendan Carr on what sort of corrupt pressure he's brought to bear on networks via private communications, in addition to public ones.

Dems should get as loud as possible about this (see piece below).

The real story here is that Republicans know the only conceivable chance of getting Trump to give a shit about putting a sociopath in charge of public health is to swaddle it in obsequious praise for Trump and try to get him to see said sociopath as somehow diminishing Trump's glory.

Bill Cassidy's line of questioning was clever -- he pressed Kennedy on how he can praise Trump for Operation Warp Speed while at the same time denigrating vaccines.

Here's the beginning of the exchange.

Perhaps because was a lot of transatlantic cross- pollination between US and UK Covid conspiracy theorists in 2020.

And yeah, I know that they got it from the British, but tbh, that makes it even more irritating to me. No one in the US was calling shots "jabs" until 2020.

Will is right. This is Trump saying he can kill people whenever he wants, with no legal justification.

Trump's never going to get to heaven like this!

Tuesday's cold-blooded strike on a boat in the Caribbean that murdered 11 people has zero legal justification, but that's not the worst part. He's sending a message that a dictatorial POTUS has no limit
