🦠 Measles 🦠

We reported a month ago that Texas was suppressing the number of measles cases. We can’t give specifics to protect staff, but we remain confident that the actual number of measles cases is FAR higher than the official count of 294 lab confirmed cases.
Measles cases in Texas rise to 259, state health department says
The Texas health department reported 259 measles cases in the state on Friday, an increase of 36 cases from its previous count on March 11, as one of the largest outbreaks the U.S. has seen in the last decade spreads.

It’s begun. We aren’t surprised that DOGE doesn’t know how to clean data since they also are perplexed by databases.

DOGE’s traitor tots are incompetent.

If you have interacted with DOGE!
👇👇👇
The Office of the Director at NIH sent out an email over the weekend asking for immediate data collection related to DOGE team members Luke Farritor, Marko Elez, and Edward Coristine, per a copy shared with me.

Presumably this is related to ongoing litigation.

BIG NEWS: A Wyoming judge just struck down WY's abortion bans.

And get this: The judge invoked a constitutional amendment codifying a right to make health care decisions... that was passed in 2012 by conservatives who thought it'd screw Obamacare! Just backfired.

We explained this lawsuit here:
How Attacks Against Obamacare Turned Into Tools to Protect Abortion Access
Conservatives amended state constitutions to affirm broad rights for people to choose their health care. Now abortion rights proponents are taking them at their word.

The devastation that will be caused by Collins, Oz & Kennedy in the health sector cannot be understated. Combing the looming health risks with economic crisis & the gutting of education at all levels is going to be much more impactful & far reaching than many people are willing to acknowledge.
Just a reminder that in 2020, Dr. Oz suggested that opening schools during COVID would "only cost us 2-3% in terms of total mortality," and that "any life is a life lost but... that might be a tradeoff some folks would consider."

“The rules” only serve to hamstring those following them, if the opposition isn’t. We should have learned this from Vietnam, OEF, OIF, & now MAGA. Dems have got to adapt, if there is to ever be a non-fascist US government in the future.
When it comes to the rules, Democrats follow them, and Republicans don't give a f**k
