I suspect they'll continue as they have with any of the cities they've targeted for 2-3 months since that seems to be the pattern on these deployments. Same pattern with LA, DC, Chicago and, now, Minneapolis. Bovino being sent back to El Centro is just shuffling chairs at the top.

It's also been in wide use in terms of hacker and computer/network security going back. So anyone online in the past couple of decades has probably heard the term at this point.

Whatever the case may be it's a win to a certain degree and shows that the administration is in a bit of disarray at the moment as they realize that they've the majority on the immigration issue which would've been a strength a year ago.

I think it's chair shifting for optics and some people being on the outs. Note that Trump was all in on this but now that the administration's support is cratering someone has to be blamed so Bovino and Noem are in the hot seat. Noem currently blaming Stephen Miller.

Elderly women know how to organize shit and have free time. If they're white suburban retirees with pensions and retirement funds then let them use their privilege on the front lines to defend those that don't. And polling on ICE right now is bad.

I was wondering about this as I've seen people say they are the NBPP but wanted to make sure before I make any comments. Had forgotten about the NBPP but they were a bit of a visible presence here back in the early 00s and just kind of dropped off by the end of the decade.

This would appear to be the case. That doesn't mean ICE operations fully cease in all areas but that they are simply moving ICE resources and federal officers around on a city-by-city basis.
