DAVINCI: the voting protocol that meets the criteria for universal adoption
Back in 2018, we started Vocdoni after identifying some flaws in the way people vote. Traditional paper ballots can be slow to count, hard to audit, and vulnerable to tampering. Onchain voting solves some of those issues but adds new ones, such as high fees, poor privacy, vote buying, “follow-the-crowd” pressure, and limits on how many voters it can handle. Inspired by how Bitcoin and Ethereum opened finance to anyone with an internet connection, we wondered: why not do the same for democracy...

This is cool, and made me think about something even cooler. A distro installer that only opens an AI prompt asking you "what do you want to use your computer for?", and from there and a series of prompts, end up configuring your linux distro

Lots of people sharing how biased deepkseek-r1 is, but I really cannot reproduce it. Funnily enough... the only case I received more biased responses was when I was running the model via my CPU, not the GPU. All GPU runs ran without issues.
